Diani Beach runs for seventeen kilometres along the south coast, backed by coconut palms and fringed by a coral reef that keeps the water calm and clear. It is the natural second half of a safari-and-beach itinerary.
Beyond the sand there is diving and snorkelling on the reef, kitesurfing in the windy months, dhow trips to Wasini Island, and the colobus monkeys of the Diani forest.
